Well, they get weak and sickly after a long, long time. Vegatative
propagation seems stop this though. I suppose that when you break
up a plant, it's life rhythm is well near shattered and goes back
to a 'reset' default.
If you get flowers in the spring (or any time of year) it is a good
indication that your VFT *did* infact get some sort of rest even
if it didn't stop growing and enter full dormancy.
