Not always! Most sand is white, don't be mislead. Silica sand is not
appropriate to use in a childrens sand box. It is extremely
irritating if inhaled and, potentially, not very fun to play in.
Childrens sand is limestone sand. Limestone sand is soft and... A
BASE. If will send your acidity right towards 7.5.
If the bag does not specifically say "silica sand," stear clear of it.
