Welcome to the group! Glad to see that you got your plants growing at
last. I think probably 99% of us started out the same way, with that
long dead venus flytrap to haunt us. :)

Are you sure you didn't get seed? It is *very* small, almost dust-like,
like tiny black spindles less than half a millimeter long and much much
narrower. The plant is self-fertile, and tends to become a weed in
collections where the pots are close together. If there wasn't enough
sun then you might not get a good seed set but I would bet that you will
get seed. How long ago did they bloom?
