Dear All,
I hate to throw a spanner in the works, so to speak, but I have grown a
Ceph in normal Sarr. conditions, in a 2/3 peat and 1/3 sand mix, as I say, tray
system, in 1" of water in summer and just moist in winter. The temp. goes down
to -2C in my greenhouse in winter. My plant is in a small pot ( :-(] ) mainly
because I have not had time to repot it. The plant has 2" high pitchers. The
humidity tends to be high.

Hope this helps,

Toby Marsden

PS. I give them full sun, the pitchers go burgundy. It is still young,
I bought it a year or two ago for L2 from a private grower in Liverpool.
I think I've had a bargain....

PPS. I've just had a thought, collecting this plant mapping info will
mean I've got to go through the herbarium specimens, as you said,
Fernando. This could be my best excuse for having to peruse through
locked herbariums. Oh no...The pain, the pain <g>
