Asphalt roofs are fine, but because our rains only come in Winter, the first
one or two are used to "clean off" the roof of dust, etc. I use this water
on all my CP's and they are doing fine. You may not have to use rain water
at all though, just leave it out overnight. I wouldn't want to sacrifice
anything though so maybe you can get it tested or look in the library or
something.
