I have seen and photographed plants as large as 6 inches in diameter.
They were in the shade by a bridge along a creek. They were growing so
thick I could barely walk without stepping on them! The plants from the
seed I collected are approaching 4 inches across. I think they will
reach the size of their wild counterparts this year.
