Hello,

My name is Mike Tarnowski. I live near Milwaukee in Wisconsin. I have
been growing CP's for about 11 years if you don't count count the VFT's
that I unwittingly killed when I was a kid.

My current project is setting up and caring for a CP terrarium at the
Milwaukee County Horticultural Conservatory. (The Mitchell Park "Domes"
for any midwesterners on the list) The terrarium will be used as part of
the conservatory's participation in the "Jason Project". This is a
science program for school age kids. I loaned them clumps of VFT's, D.
capensis, D. aliciae, U. sandersonii, S. purpurea. I also loaned them a
Cephalotus, a Pinguicula, and a D. intermedia. The plants have been in
the tank for two months and are thriving. I also gave the conservatory a
few teaspoonfulls of D. capensis seed. This will be given to school
groups to grow back in their classrooms.

I am a member of the I.C.P.S. I enjoy growing CP from seed. My main
interest in CP is growing them as a hobby. My favorite genus is
Drosera. I am an electrician by trade with interests in electronics and
photography. That's it for now.

Thank you.
