Hello All,

Just a query about D.aliciae

I have two healty plants growing in a terrarium on the lower
bench of my greenhouse. It is very warm and humid in there, and
when an insect is trapped, it is attacked my fungus virtually
straight away. Sometimes a smaller insect will be quicky digested
by the plants before they can be attacked. Do you think this fungus
could spread to my plants, or could it actually be a form of symbiosis?
(Sorry about the spelling!) with the plant capturing the insect,
and the fungus pre-digesting the insect so the plant can absorb
the nutrient much faster?

Any Comments appreciated

Thanks,

Russell Elliott
