I would't worry about ants on your plants. Every summer I have an
invasion in my greenhouse, and all of my Sarracenia catch many. My
S. flava especially catch so many that the pitchers in some cases
actually fill right up. I do know that ants can carry fungus about,
and also spread aphids etc, but they have never caused damage on my
own plants. I wouldn't worry about the ants personally,
