my name is barbara ling, and long long ago, back when the earth's
crust cooled, i raised CPs first as a science project, and then
for fun (it lasted from ages 14-17, which is when i left for college).
now, 16 years later, i've decided to dive right back into this
hobby, and have some questions.
alas, i read the reviews about PPN *after* i had made my order,
but hey, these things happen - i'll see how my plants appear when
they arrive (sometime this week). i've ordered the following:
drosera filiforma
drosera binata
drosera capensis seeds
pitcher plant - flava (okay, so i can't spell the sar..)
pitcher plant - leuchyphylla (sp) (these are both rhizomes)
cobra lily
six seedling VFT
my question - i'm assuming that i can plant all these CPs in
one terrarium (i'll be using the 2x2' greenhouse with grow lights
and a timer) - be this correct? i vaguely remember having problems
with the drosera binata (is it really a weed in australia?) 'way
back when, but don't remember the details.
also, back then i fed the plants with dried tuberflex worms (ie,
fish food), which seemed to work quite well. is this practice
still recommended? and is the CP guy in kennebunk, maine, still
around? i never did receive a catalogue from him....
many thanx!
best wishes,
btl
