I remember hearing of someone who froze seeds in ice cube trays (with
water). After they were frozen the cubes were put on the medium they
were to grow on and allowed to melt. Whoever did this said it bypassed any
months-long stratification period. I haven't tried it myself, so I
can't vouch for this method.
