Hi,

When your VFT's are going dormant they generally develop wide leaves,
that tend to lie right along the ground. AS for your query about how
to keep them while they are dormant, This season I have taken mine out
of their pots, washed them of any remain mix, and placed them in
containers with some moist peat covering the bulb and roots. I have
then placed a thin layer of horticultural sand over this. After this I
placed them in the crisper section of my fridge. So far they have
remained their normal colour, so I would say it has been successful so
far.
