Oh dear, we're in danger of another evolution arguement!

To the original point: There is no reason why modern Western Religions are
incompatible for a scientist - including an evolutionary biologist.
I was watching a programme on TV a month or so ago, that suggested a new
"religion" - that of science. Strange how it was close to my own beliefs.
The Wonder of the Universe is itself the amazing "God". I mean Wonder at all
levels - which it is, isn't it?

As for Evolution: The evidence for Evolution is stronger than Plate Tectonics
(and I'm a geologist), or the existence of Caesar and Jesus of Nazareth.

We see evolution in our plant pots, don't we?

And Entropy: I agree with Klaus about the lack of relevance to the argument,
and remember that EVERY living organism appears to contradict the 2nd Law -
bringing order from disorder.
