Hi Dave,

I agree, each cutting is unique and the results will most likely vary even
using the same method on two or more cuttings from the same plant, some are
faster than others and some won't make it at all. Funny thing is, I used a
sealed propagator with bottom heat for the successful ventricosa and maxima
cuttings, the parent plants are kept in typical highland temps, yet when I
used the traditional method some years back with the maxima and kept the
cutting in the same location and same temps as the parent, it failed. Go
figure! :-) You have an excellent success rate, I wouldn't change a thing.
