Darlingtonia need a large amount of space to grow in. As well,
they grow best in live sphagnum moss. It's often suggested that this
is the only compost that should be used. The roots must also be kept
cool, especially in summer. These plants grow near cool mountain streams
where fresh, cold water runs over the roots constantly.

Water your plants from above (still on the tray though) with
cool, distilled water. As well, I'd suggest repotting them in
live sphagnum as this will also tend to keep the roots a bit cooler.
