Never tried this before. Do you want to just keep the
water flowing and not still? If so, I'd say just put in an airstone
and this will do it. BTW, you didn't mention what you'd use for a filter,
if you did choose to use one I'd probably just use a corner filter filled
with floss. This would probably do enough physical filtration and would
build up bacteria to help consume nitrates, if any, in your water.
