Nigel and others,

>I have a single Drosera Villosa plant, hence the need for cuttings to
>propagate it. I bought it at the UK CPS meeting at Reading Uni in
>January (if you ever have the chance to experience Fernando's talk and
>slide show, it is worth crawling naked over burning coals to get
>there!).

What can I say, thanks a million, I'm flattered!

>I can't even remember who I bought it from, so
>I have no idea as to the material's original locality. Fernando, you
>actually saw me holding the plant a few milliseconds after I bought it,
>and you commented on it being a nice Drosera Villosa (without reading the
>label!).

There are many strange forms of D.villosa, but the one you bought
is a form from the Serra dos Orgaos, mountains in the state of Rio de
Janeiro. These were the first D.villosa introduced into cultivation in the
70's by Reginaldo Britto, an ex-CPer from Brazil.

'Till next time!!

Fernando!!
