Crickets and CP (HELP!!!)

Crickets have been plentiful and voracious this summer, and they posses an
almost single-minded fondness for my upright Sarracenia. They've chewed holes
in hoods and nectar rolls, scraped the cuticle off of long strips of
pitchers, and even chewed off the tips of young shoots (particularly annoying
on my new S. alata "black").

OK, question time .. how do I get rid of the things????? (the pitchers
themselves, and the surrounding VFTs are only partially successful at
reducing their numbers, and my almost-nightly sprayings of Diazinon are
likewise not doing the trick.

In the US, is there poison bait that anyone's found effective? A systemic
insecticide that's not harmful to my flavas, alatas, leucophyllas, flava x
psittacinas, rubras, etc.?

Please respond ASAP .. I'll check private e-mail today before I leave for a
week of vacation and do whatever's recommended before I go.

Thanks in advance,

Jay Lechtman
