I just posted direct to Peter, but then saw this followup.
Coir is the 'coconut fibre' peat substitute that I mentioned in
another article I just sent. It's often already made up into a
'potting soil' (no doubt with added fertiliser). I believe that the
raw material can vary a lot, some having high concentrations of salt,
so it would be as well to have a small scale trial with the CP.
