Only some Drosera would like conditions preferred by Butterworts
the only one I can think of now, D.rotundifolia likes conditions
similar to what P.vulgaris & P.grandiflora enjoy. All Pings can be
grown in sandy, well drained soils. There the similarities end.
Some need high or low pH; lots of light or, like most, shade.
Some, like P.primilflora (sp?), like to grow in living Sphagnum
moss and sand. All must be kept moist and most don't like being
kept wet. P.planifolia is one exception, there are others. Some
plants from Mexico can be grown as airplants. The list goes on
and on... Find out what the particular plants you are getting need.
