I just want to try and provide a wider spectrum for them. I have been
growing in terrariums for 6 or 7 years and I have noticed that the plants do
a lot better if they have more than one type of bulb on them. Presumably
due to the more varied spectrum.

I agree completely..... but it is a nice balance of heat and light for them!

I also agree about the fluorescents..... Which is why there are two of them
in there as well. From my previous message:
