Air bubblers & heating

Andy and others,
Be careful here! Using air bubblers is fine, but the bubbler
unit takes
air in from all around the unit, not one inlet. If you want to ciculate
air inside the tank, you will need an expensive bubbler, one with a
piped inlet air supply. If you put the unit _inside_ the tank it will
blow up or fry your plants (and you), especially in high humidity. I
repaired a unit a little while ago - the unsealed case contained exposed
contacts carrying full mains voltages.

This also applies to thermostats, in a terrarium or other high-humidity
environment you *must* use an up to date, sealed thermostat, _*not*_ a central
heating type one.

No-one wants people to be electrocuted while tending to their CP's.

Kind Regards,

Toby
