I know  that  D. brevifolia can be found north of Charleston on highway 78, 
just outside Summerville.  Being from Summerville and still visiting 
relatives occassionally, I was out there this past summer looking for 
HABITAT.  I tried to find a stand of Sarracinia flava that I ran across as a 
child.  I found the area but no Sarr.  But, while sticking my nose close to 
ground, I found D. brevifolia, tiny little things hiding among the grass.  I 
was pleased to no end.
