OK, I have notice that some plants seem to increase in color when
planted in almost pure peat. I also find that vfts seem to have more
of a red color when planted in pure peat. In my mix, I also add
ground up pine straw to the mix and top dress all my vfts with ground
up pine straw, as well. Adding pine straw to vfts seems to increase
there growth.

I guess there is a question in all of this and that is, what benefits
do you get using peat moss tea over planting your plants in pure peat.
I would think none unless you are trying to get a concentration of
this tannis.

If this works, it would be nice to know what other materials will give
the same results, that you could use to make "Black Tea" from.
