Hi list,

I just want to reply to something someone (I think it was Perry)
said about his plants looking better after the peat tea is used.
I have to say that as time goes by and the plants grow, they
color up and show increased vigor. Perhaps the plants are simply
showing the result of becoming established? Have you tried this
stuff on plants which have been well established (not disturbed
for a year or more) to see if there is a real effect? I'm not
saying that it can't work, but my plants have become a lot more
red simply by being allowed to stay in the same pot for a couple
years (also true for Sarracenia), and also because my use of
fertilizer and more resently the drop in temperatures. It's now
about ten degrees F cooler where my Neps are growing than it was
two months ago, but they have been turning redder and redder
thoughout the whole year...
