Dear Listeners,

Thanks to a hint by our correspondent Wolfram (Diester), I have come
to know about a really fascinating plant, now introduced as a species
of _Pinguicula_.

http://www.acnatsci.org/mongolia/Pinguic.html

features "Pinguicula longiflora (Lentibulariaceae)", a name new to
science, here used for the first time for a taxon formerly known as
_Pedicularis longiflora_ (Scrophulariaceae, non-carnivorous but
hemiparasitic) to most other botanists. This illegitimate comb. nov.
(no basionym cited, not published effectively) must be included in
the cp list as a synonym (of a species excludenda). I am in doubt how
it should be cited properly but I think it would be correct just to
cite the URL appending (1996) as a publication date. The author is
J.D.Weintraub, the owner of the page.

Kind regards
Jan
