     Dave and Perry,

It'll be a (long) while before I'm likely to start culturing CF's
also, but maybe others will be more adventurous. CP's (Sarracenia &
Nepenthes, mostly) are my hobby, and I enjoy them because of their
beautiful & unusual forms. But as kid, I was initially attracted to
CP's because of their bizzare diets & wonderful means of trapping prey
(that still appeals to me & certainly makes for great conversation
topics). For that reason, the concept of carnivorous fungi seems
equally bizzare & wonderful, and are at least worth some gee-whiz nat.
history. But I don't see growing (deliberately, anyway) CF's in my
future (though Oyster mushrooms are welcome for dinner).

     Best regards,

     Ted
