Dear Mr. McCullough and Others,
I use nothing but pine straw (pine needles) and sand to grow Venus
Flytraps, all species of Sarracenia, Byblyis, and many varieties of
Drosera, Pinguicula. All plants are in out door bogs, raised beds or
plastic swimming pools. All plants are healthy, and happy. I even use
pine straw in a secret formula for nepenthes media.
