If the plant has a scape that is more ascending than e.g. in _D.
aliciae_, I would always suspect confusion with _D. intermedia_.
There are quite a lot of wrongly IDed plants in cultivation. Very few
growers seem to take the trouble to check what they have. Look at the
seeds (papillae in distinct longitudinal rows in _D. capillaris_,
bullate-papillate with +/- irregularly arranged, conspicuous
outgrowths in _D. intermedia_). One single grain tells more than
thousand scapes.
