Subject: Re: PK - Help Us! Fernando's response...

Hi all,

Thank you all for your feedback about asking PK to help "us"
with some poilitical economical issues here in Victoria.

Most of the response has been to the negative of my original
question, but actually I am pleased to know that most of PK
fans in this mailing list are really only interested in the
melodic, emotional power and feel of PK's music and perhaps
not why he wrote the music and what his psychological frame
of mind at the time of writing his songs was like.

Sorry to sound here folks, but I'm the type that really
cannot stand mushy, lovey-dovey, "...I love you...will you
love me?" CRAP!!! PK's music like Braggs and Victor Jarra
and Dylan's and etc etc is to me REAL music and music about
REAL issues and REAL events and REAL people.

Anyway my intentions are not to get "ugly" and there is no
reason for us to start becoming flammable towards each
other. Of course not, BUT if this list is about people
talking about PK's music on just superficial levels then I'm
out of here....

Criticisms and Appraisals are opposites but just as
importand as each other. If we don't talk about REAL issues
in peace and comfort amongst each other (especially with
this internet technology thing) then we might as well just
go out and buy all our daily requirement of Dolly, New Idea
and other tabloid rubbish to get all the "knowledge" we ever
need.....

Thanks for the comments again and hope we can continue
discussing PK's music, etc etc etc with harmony and
understanding no matter what of the opinion and ideas we may
put forward...

Cheers,
Fernando
