Insectivorous plant society meeting was held on last Sunday.
IPS is a Japanese cp society.
Mr.Fernando Rivadavia lectured on Drosera in Brazil.
We heard his lectures while we saw 100 sheets of his slide.
Brazilian Drosera were beautiful and we were overwhelmed.
It seemed for those habitats as they were different from Drosera
habitats in Japan.
Do those situations resemble Drosera habitats in South Africa?
Is it right?
My favorite were
sessilifolia, montana tomentosa, graminifolia, chrysolepis,
TYPE villosa and especially graomogolensis!!!
Fernando-san DOMO ARIGATO GOZAIMASITA!!!
When Fernando-san visits your cp society, you should plan for him to
lecture.
The day, he opened his notebook and showed to me. There was a flower
of Drosera pauciflora on paper. It was huge and I was surprised. I
didn't measure a diameter correctly but it could not have been seen
the flower of Drosera.
His next lecture will be Utricularia or Genlisea. I saw the slide
of G.uncinata in advance. It was a huge Genlisea and also was extremely
beautiful.
I am looking forward to hearing his next lecture.
Kind regards
Isao
P.S.

I still need a lot of time for the tomato. But Please, propagate
1996'Heliamphoras and prepare them in vitro for me. I was not able to
