Subject: Pico de Orizaba

          Dear Mark,

          Thanks for your note.

>Apparently there are significant differences between Pico
>de Orizaba and P.moranensis.

I will be interested to hear these. However please remember
that there are considerable differences between various
P.moranensis forms think of the old horticultural forms
'caudata', roseii, superba and Alba for example. Plus other
newly introduced forms with location names like Santiago or
El Chico or the very elegant 'Kirkbright' plant

>Andrea who handles the incoming material and is responsible
>for TC and naming it is going to post a description of Pico
>de Orizaba, its cultivation and how it differs from
>P.moranensis.

When providing this information please include details of
which P.moranensis it is being compared to. If it of any
help I can probably supply Andrea with seeds of some of
these other P.moranensis forms (and other Pinguicula species
if interested) in the coming months.

          Kind regards

          Loyd
