Dear All,
For all those who are still in doubt if they will come to the
Second Conference of the International Carnivorous Plant Society,
30. May - 1. June, 1998 in Bonn (Botanischer Garten), Germany, here
is a further appetizer. Of the invited speakers, the following
have already agreed to give lectures:
L. Adamec and C. Breckpot on _Aldrovanda_
M.K. Janarthanam on Indian _Utricularia_
K. Kondo on _Drosera_
A. Lau on C American cps
H. Luhrs on Mexican _Pinguicula_
J. Steiger on temperate _Pinguicula_
P. Temple on Caribbean _Pinguicula_
S.J. Casper (the last _Pinguicula_ monographer) will perhaps visit the
conference as a guest.
There will be opportunities to share your knowledge by presentation
of posters, you may display your finest plants (only registered
participants who have indicated so in advance) at the Fourth
International CP Exhibition, which will be held at the same location,
and with some luck, your plants may even win an award (NB: the
awarding will be already on Fri, 29. May 1998).
Registration forms for the conference will be sent with the December
and March issues of CPN.
