Having heard and read for over a year that 40W bulbs were being phased
out, I'm starting to treat this "fact" like the hoax virus messages we
get on email. It probably only took one person to start the rumor and
now all of us are citing a chain of hand-me-down facts that was only a
rumor to start with.
