(Heh) Once they get to a certain stage, some VFTs tend to go nuts with the
blooming thing. Mine want to bloom well into the winter after I bring them
indoors.
When they are outside, I don't mind if they send up a stalk or too; after
all that is part of their natural cycle and what they are supposed to do. I
enjoy the flowers and, unlike some, find them attractive. But then, I
usually snip off any others to drive the energy of the plants into
vegetative production and end up in the fall with a clump of big thrifty
plants with nice fat, colourful traps.
They take their dormancy better in this manner, also, for me.
Kind Regards,
Rand
