Dear Filippo,
I currently have seeds of D.arcturi germinating, they were
supplied fresh from NZ by Bruce Salmon (thanks very much
Bruce).
The seed I placed on compost still shows no sign of
germinating, where as the seeds I placed in a clear plastic
container with cooled boiled water have been germinating for
the past few weeks now. I have been removing the seeds as
they sprout with a pipette and placing them onto peat/sand
compost with a thin top dressing of silver sand which helps
in positioning the seedlings with a drop of water. I have
been using this same method to germinate temperate
Pinguicula with out stratification.
Kind regards
Loyd
