Subject: S. alata and fire ants...

I have a S. alata that I just put in my new bog garden here in middle
GA about a month ago. It is growing quite well but I noticed that fire
ants had cut a hole in one of the pitchers and were going in and
out... Any ideas?
Is there any way for me to kill the ants in my bog without damage to
the little ecosystem that I have set up?
