Hi Cindy,
I would dip the base of the stem in rootone, or dip-n-gro and
treat as a cutting, hoping for the best. If the root stock has been
established for a good deal of time, it may sprout shoots from some where
deep inside, or it may not. Don't lose heart though until you are
absolutley certain both ends are dead. Nepenthes are very resiliant, once
they are well settled in.
