Dear Everyone,
For the past month or so I've been on this list I notice a lot of talk about
outdoor temperature and sunlight. I would like to suggest is that when this
subject is brought up that who ever is asking the question or replying
please mention where in the world they are. I find a lot of posts where
people mention that it's, "too hot", or, "I can grow leave it outdoors when
winters are mild". Frequently though I notice that no mention is made of
where they are. A mild winter in Spain is a lot different than a mild winter
in the Yukon. I know it would help me and I'm sure many others if we could
simply say briefly where we are when the question of light and temperature
come up. If make just a little effort to do this we might be surprised what
can be grown where and that would widen our horticultural knowledge of these
wonderful herbacious critters.
Many thanks!
