The glands on Drosera capensis seem to terminate abruptly accompanied by
discernible narrowing of the petiole, characteristics which seem to be
absent from the plant in the photograph. It could be Drosera x Hybrida
- it seems to have the same characteristic way of chucking out petioles.
However the petioles seem to be relatively wide compared to the
specimens in my collection, and I can't clearly make out their profile
from the photo.
I guess this is some corroboration for Jan that a squidged plant is more
useful than a photograph for taxonomic purposes!
