1. Can you overfeed cephalotus pitchers to the point where they will die
prematurely? Two of the pitchers on my cephalotus died only after a few
weeks. When I opened the rotting pitchers it smelled very foul and the
sides of the pitchers looked black. Otherwise it's doing well....made
it's first offshoot with teeny tiny immature pitchers and leaves.
2. The leaves of my Drosera regia are shrinking in size with each new
leaf. I've read that they reduce their size in the winter only. I'm
growing it with my D. capensis, slackii, alicae, capillaris, and binata.
The others are doing really well, but regia's leaf size is now smaller
than capensis....and it was nearly twice the size when I got it. What
am I doing wrong?
3. What's a Green Dragon VFT?
4. Is there such a thing as a Red Dentate VFT? Where can I get one?
5. How many years can drosera stay in the same soil without repotting?
6. Is there a way of inducing P. planifolia to form plantlets on its
leaf tips?
thank you,
vincent
