Bill,

I've been using HPS lights for about 6 years. I've found that you can put
them on light tracks to get the most bang for the buck so to speak. If your
greenhouse is heavily shaded, however, I might recommend Metal Halides to give
you a more complete spectrum. I've used HPS as the sole light source many
times, and you start getting peculiar growth over time from their orange
light.
