Okay, Charles, I'll bite, :) what are the four fungicides you rotate?

Of course some plants are genetically predisposed to infection
moreso than others. A mature S. purpurea from the same parentage
as the one in the next pot over may succumb for no reason.
Spraying the medium and leaves with a good fungicide such as
Benomyl 50% WP once a month in winter and spring may help ward off
this cursed affliction, being preventative rather than first aid.

Mark, I would recommend you rotate fungicides every month rather then
use the
same fungicide month after month. I use a combination of four different
fungicides, during summer, just to keep any fungus from building up a
resistant to my fungicides. Once the plants has been attacked by
fungus, it is very hard to eliminate. Most of the fungicides on the
market, which are available to us, are used as a preventative rather
them for eliminating the disease.
