Back in the summer, I was visiting the Fort Myers area and collected (with
permission) some Drosera capillaris from a nursery. I had planned to dry a
specimen or two for Fernando's work but just never got around to it. The
plants were put in a small container and kept outside on a table all summer.
They're now inside under fluorescent lights and the capillaris no longer
looks like capillaris. The petiole is thin and elongated with an almost
circular area at the leaf's tip. There's a small possibility that some
seeds blew into the cup from other drosera.
I'd appreciate it if someone would volunteer to take a look at a live
specimen or a preserved specimen to ID the remaining plants. One plant is
about to flower so I could dry flowers and plant and send them on for ID.
