Subject: Counter-top RO units

Hi Everyone--

I'm thinking of investing in a reverse-osmosis unit, but I'm a renter and
the plumbing in our place is old (pipes run directly to the faucet--there
are no under-sink shut-off valves), so the only real option I have is to
buy a counter top model with a diverter valve which connects to the
spigot. Can anyone on the list recommend one that's reasonably
inexpensive (translation: under $300.00)?
