I believe this idea that you can distinguish a VFT variety by it's trigger
hairs rather dubious indeed, surely the trigger hairs are far too variable,
even within one plant? Anyway, VFT trigger hairs aren't "hairs" at all,
they are actually structures with an axis point near the bottom, so they can
flex back and forth. There, that was interesting wasn't it?
(If anyone can explain it better please do, I probably made a pigs ear of it
:)
