Subject: Snails OK for Aquatic Utrics and Aldrovanda?

Just got some Aldrovanda from an Australian friend here in the states
(thanks!) and he says they should be grown with aquatic snails. Apparently,
the snails eat the algae but not the plants. Ive always assumed CP and
snails didnt mix well after hearing about friends casualties - can I just go
to the pet store and find some aquarium snails which wont harm CP or should
I avoid using snails?
