Colchicine is usually available at pharmacies with a written
prescription, as it is a drug used in the treatment of gout. If
you explain the purpose of its use to the pharmacist and you do
not have a presciption, you may have to sign a log book and show
I.D. in order to buy it. This is in the event that you decide to
poison someone, they would be able to track down the purchaser of
the colchicine. I know it is sold in o.6mg press tabs, that can
be dissolved and filtered to remove the tablet fillers. So even
though it is highly toxic, it can be handled safely.
Para-dichlorbenzene sounds like it would be the easier, safer, and
cheaper chemical to use if it works.
