Subject: decomposition rates of prey: sarracenia purpurea, drosera capensis

Hello, I am a new member, Mike. I am performing an experiment in which I use
several sarracenia purpurea (pitcher plant) and several drosera capensis
(sundew plant) and I will put prey into a mesh bag, feed it to the plants and
weigh the bag at intervals to figure out the decomposition rates. I would
appreciate it greatly if anyone had advice about this experiment,
suggestions, etc. about the types of plants, things I should pay attention
to, anything you've noticed that you think would be important. Thanks a lot!
~Mike
