Thank you Davion, for getting the Major Concoction to the brilliant minds of
this forum. As for the amount of cooking oil. Your not the first one to
question the amount of, or even its use. I still show evidence of the Venus
able to live outside of the terrarium dome. As for the amount, a couple
squirts from a plastic bottle right in the middle of the plant and roots. But
still Davion is probably right in the amount.
    Wind is a factor in drying out the VFT. A clear plastic shield the side
that wind comes from. With all the precautions still the Venus will kick the
dust if it doesn't get the substance of a bug. When someone ask what to do
when their Venus can't get enough bugs? Some time back, another reader said,
place a small bit of pure charcoal in a good trap. What is charcoal, decayed
plants, animals, and bugs?
